This infographic depicts Italy wine production percent change, by region, from 2024 to 2025. It is obvious from this map that Italy's 8% overall increase in wine production from 2024 to 2025 was driven by the country's southern regions. In particular, Basilicata realized the greatest production increase nationally, up 40% in 2025 when compared to the previous year. Next were Abruzzo and Molise, both up 25% in 2025 from 2024, followed by Sicily which was up 20%.
Notably, Tuscany was the only region that realized a wine production decline in 2025...down a sizable 13% when compared to its wine production in 2024.
