U.S. Wine Production Trending Down, 2013-2024
Including 2013, the U.S. has seen only four years of positive growth from the previous year’s wine production in the last 12 years. Six of the last seven years have seen a negative trend, interrupted only by a marginal production gain in 2021. Notably, U.S. wine production has yet to equal pre-COVID levels since the nearly 10% decline in the global pandemic year of 2020.
